Each year she spends a few days at camp and I get so excited to hear about all the adventures she has, all the learning and growing that takes place in those few days just can't be bought. This year was her first year attending as a high school student and it was a whole new experience for her. It's scary to send off your child to load a bus and travel to a neighboring state (California in this case) and stay away for 5 days. I am surely "that parent" that texts my kid every morning, noon and night... "just checking in..." Thats totally normal, right?! I want to know whats going on, are you well, did you have a good day, did you get sleep last night?!
